XoftSpySE is an excellent spyware removal program. ParetoLogic, who are the makers of a number of other highly recommended protection software programs, are the developers of Xoftspyse. XoftSpySE is a fully featured package, offering a great mix of features for a compelling price. It also offers one of the most complete spyware definition databases on the market. The only drawback we could see was that it is not optimized for Vista.

ParetoLogic Xoftspyse is simple to install on your PC. Downloads are available, and you can install and perform a system scan for free. The free scan will tell you the status of infection on your PC, however you need to purchase the software before you can remove infections and clean your machine.

XoftSpySE is very customizable. You can decide whether to launch it when you boot up your computer, download updates automatically or with notification, set parameters on scans, and schedule automatic scans. XoftSpySE also features a backup list where you can quarantine files and restore them. This protects you from accidentally deleting an important file. There is also an ignore list for files you don't want the software to identify as spyware.
Xoftspyse is straightforward and easy to use. There are a number of things you can do, ranging from setting up a schedule to provide for scans when you're not there to choosing from either a full scan, a quick scan, or a customized scan. Customised scans allow you to choose which parts of your system you want to check for possible infection.
The program is user-friendly, and navigation doesn't present a problem. The interface for changing the custom settings was pretty intuitive and we had no trouble in setting it up to do what we wanted. We were also able to continue with other work while a scan was in progress without noticing any significant slowdown.

Xoftspyse is one of the most effective malware cleaners on the market. For a price which compares favourably to other malware cleaners, it offers a range of features and capabilities which make it one of the best value for money programs out there. It has a very extensive spyware definition list which is incremented on a daily basis.

According to ParetoLogic's product specifications website, XoftSpySE detects and removes adware, spyware, pop-up generators, keyloggers, trojans, hijackers, and malware. A lot of protection for the money. Updates are added to the program on a regular basis, at least once or twice a week.

There is detailed help available within the software, but this is backed up by Pareto Logic's free online support. After you've registered, a knowledge base is accessible on their site and several FAQs can be read and queries can be submitted online. A customer forum is also available as is a ParetoLogic Blog.

While not able to compete head to head with some of the fully featured spyware cleaners, XoftSpySE is nevertheless an excellent, well-specified program. It also costs a little less than the top programs while not compromising on the level of protection it offers, and therefore is an excellent choice for the budget-conscious purchaser.
